DESCRIPTION: This is a bright mirror finish chrome plate on nickelled solid brass. This finish is extremely hard wearing and is suitable for most environments. It has a cool tone and is a perfect match for modern design schemes, and is a popular choice for kitchens and bathrooms. The metal undergoes a range of processes to achieve the finished look which includes pre-polishing, hot soaking, electrolytic cleaning, plating and polishing.

BRIDLE LEATHER: Joseph Giles uses only the finest quality bridle leather for their products, which is applied by highly skilled and experienced crafters in the United Kingdom. Bridle leather is both practical and beautiful. It differs from regular leather as both the flesh and grain sides of the cowhide are treated with greases and finished with wax, making the leather incredibly hardwearing, pliable, and smooth to the touch. Each leather item you receive from Joseph Giles has been stitched with meticulous attention to detail, with a quality that can be both seen and felt.

OVER TIME: This is non-tarnishing and with the correct maintenance will retain its high mirror finish. The leather will age naturally over time developing its own individual character. Each piece will have varying levels of surface shine depending on the environment and usage.

APPLICATION: We recommend internal usage only for leather finishes, avoiding high humidity areas such as swimming pools and wet rooms.

CARE & MAINTENANCE: Clean the metal component with a soft lint free cloth and warm soapy water. To maintain its shine, a chrome polish can also be used. If required, a good quality leather cleaner can be used on the leather component.
