DESCRIPTION: This is brushed brass, with a hand applied dark antique effect treatment which is then sealed with the robust ceramic coating.The processes involved in creating this finish take considerable time and effort. A chemical is applied, worked into the brass and then extensively polished. The process is repeated several times to develop layers of dark bronze tint until the depth of dark bronze is achieved before applying the ceramic coating.
OVER TIME: Unlike Joseph Giles' signature Dark Bronze Waxed (DBZW) finish, this ceramic coated version will be kept in its original state, just as it was when it was first hand-finished.
APPLICATION: This finish can be used in most spaces due to the robust ceramic coating, rendering it suitable for outdoor, high-traffic and even coastal environments.
CARE & MAINTENANCE: Wipe any dirt or dust off with a dry, soft cloth.
