DESCRIPTION: This is a brushed nickel-plated finish on brushed brass. This finish has a warm tone that will naturally age and develop a unique beauty. Products in this finish undergo a range of processes by skilled artisans to achieve the finished look which includes pre-polishing, hot soaking, electrolytic cleaning, plating and polishing.

BRIDLE LEATHER: Joseph Giles uses only the finest quality bridle leather for their products, which is applied by highly skilled and experienced crafters in the United Kingdom. Bridle leather is both practical and beautiful. It differs from regular leather as both the flesh and grain sides of the cowhide are treated with greases and finished with wax, making the leather incredibly hardwearing, pliable, and smooth to the touch. Each leather item you receive from Joseph Giles has been stitched with meticulous attention to detail, with a quality that can be both seen and felt.

OVER TIME: The product will age to a natural patina, darkening and dulling to develop its own individual character. The leather will age naturally over time developing its own individual character. Each piece will have varying levels of surface shine depending on the environment and usage.

APPLICATION: We recommend internal usage only for leather finishes, avoiding high humidity areas such as swimming pools and wet rooms.

CARE & MAINTENANCE: For standard cleaning, use a soft lint-free cloth and warm soapy water on the metal component. If required, a good quality leather cleaner can be used on the leather component.
