Model code: TT1090
Joseph Giles thumb turns are made from finest grade solid brass and are hand finished in all the standard Joseph Giles finishes. They are used to lock internal doors such as WCs and are used in conjunction with an emergency release and a privacy lock. Crafted from solid brass, our Switch thumb turn is inspired by Switch House, an extension to the world-famous Tate Modern museum in Bankside which is designed by architects Herzog & De Meuron. Ever since its inception, we have admired this incredible structure and its extraordinary latticed brickwork, which proudly pierce the London skyline. We have carefully reflected the distinct, folded, angular lines of the building in the design of the Switch thumb turn and even in the rose. They are supplied as single items with fixings and have a 5mm square spindle.
