Joseph Giles - Tubular latch

A true testament to British engineering, each tubular latch is carefully hand-assembled to ensure the inner workings dovetail together perfectly and provide a seamless operating experience and a latch that will last a lifetime.

These tubular latches are recessed into the door and the latch bolt is operated by a pair of lever handles and an 8mm spindle. Latches are used on non-locking (otherwise know as passage) doors.

With the lock case fitted centrally within the door thickness, the minimum recommended door thickness is 40mm and the maximum 54mm.

Available in 3 different spring strengths.

• Latch case (The actual latch)
• Solid brass/stainless forend plate (Plate that goes over the end of the latch)
• Solid brass/stainless strike plate (Plate that is fitted to the frame)
• Fixing pack with solid brass slotted screws
• Strike tidy dust box
