The Roland is inspired by the illustrious shape of the light bulb; a form that is both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. The simple act of changing a light bulb sparked the inspiration for this range. This innocuous everyday object which, often taken for granted, is wonderfully tactile and a perfect shape and size for a door knob. Joseph Giles have changed the form slightly, elongating it so it appears to reach out from the door and invite the hand to use it.

Joseph Giles locks & latches are available in light, medium, and heavy-sprung options. To ensure the best performance for this door knob design, we recommend using a light-sprung latch.
