The highly skilled Armac Martin finishers in the UK take the raw brass component and hand polish to a smooth mirrored finish. A bright nickel plate is then applied. The finisher then hand burnishes the product to achieve a natural looking aged appearance. Nickel finishes are less durable than chrome and as a result is classed as a living finish which will oxidise over time.
CARE & MAINTENANCE: To help maintain and preserve the finish it is recommended that the finish is occasionally cleaned using a quality non-abrasive metal polish.
