Michael Murray Studio used warm, soft colours to create a sense of calm, including wood melamine battening and subtle green hues. Marble surfaces add a luxury touch and look intriguing next to the minimalist off white cabinetry. The clients requested custom cabinetry in the living room to compliment the kitchen design style. A nod to the exterior of the home with feature battening enhance the visual texture and layers of the home. A clever "no waste" approach to the marble, managing to only require two slabs in the overall design including the living room and pantry.
